Exhilarating, Animated, Expressive, Talented
These are just a few of the words that describe the incredible
vocal abilities, and the stage presence of Shannan Mudie. Her
exceptional vocal range and inspirational talent is the focal
point of Magnet,
having captivated audiences all over Victoria and New South Wales
for the past 8 years.
Shannan
is the daughter of Australian musician and songwriting legend,
Don Mudie, who wrote the classic "A
Little Ray of Sunshine" with Brian Cadd in the early
1970's.
She has sung extensively on both radio and television, and performed
as a session vocalist in some of Melbourne's top recording studios.
From Van Morrison to Shania Twain, from Pat Benetar to Sade,
Shannan's powerful vocals and versatile range, deliver it all.
Your Wedding Reception will explode into celebration,
as Shannan makes sure that both you and your guests are on the
dance floor from the very
first song.
In July 2003, Shannan fulfilled one of her ambitions to become
an original recording artist, with the recent release of Magnet's
first CD "Time to Change", whilst in November 2004,
Shannan was selected to be on the judging panel of the prestigious
"Australian Idol" competition at the annual Eltham
Festival.
As a result of her achievements, Shannan is now considered among
the most exclusive female
singers and vocalists in the Wedding Entertainment
industry, and with the recent guidance and mentoring of Australian
jazz singer and legend Christine Sullivan, Shannan is gearing
up for a huge year in 2009.
