Act

A performer, or entertainer of consisting of a range of possibilities, from Duos, Trios, Bands, Vocalists, Strings Ensembles, etc...

Brass

A term used to describe any instrument from the Brass Section of an orchestra eg. trumpet, cornet, tuba, sousaphone, bugle, trombone, saxophone, french horn etc...

Cover Band

A band that plays popular well known songs, tunes or music

Dance Floor

The area normally directly ahead of the stage, where guests can dance

Disco Music

DJ

A genre of popular music that originated in New Orleans around 1900 and developed through increasingly complex styles

Keyboard

Generally an electronic version of the piano, with an ability to play a multitude of sounds, from Brass Instruments through to the latest digital samples, also commonly referred to as a synthesizer.

Radio Mic

Known as a "Radio Microphone" and used as an alternative to "hard wired" microphones. Radio microphones use a transmitter and receiver to send audio signals, enabling the user to move freely whilst singing or talking.
