Magnet setup before your Wedding guests arrive, and then play music sets as required, depending on the program set for your Wedding Reception.

Magnet also obtain a copy of the schedule for your Wedding on arrival, to ensure that the formal part of the Reception is not interrupted.

Dance, Party, Celebrate!

Magnet perform approximately 40 songs during your Wedding Reception, which equates to 3 x 45 minute sets, or 4 x 30 minute sets, depending on the program set for your Wedding.

All songs are tastefully selected before each set is performed, from a list of over 130 popular hits, determined by the age and style of the audience.

Quality CD's are played between sets, whilst the professional lighting and digital sound system is provided in order to make your Wedding day a huge celebration.

The Bridal Waltz

The most important event musically at any Wedding Reception, is the first dance performed by the Bride and Groom.

The music for the bridal waltz can be performed either by Magnet or on CD, however, it is important to notify Magnet of your song choice, prior to your Wedding Day.

When it's all over, Magnet finish playing when the Bride and Groom have departed the Wedding Reception, unless other arrangements have been made.

The balance of any payment is settled either prior to, or at the completion of the performance.

Flexibility

Magnet works constantly with the MC and organisers during your Wedding Reception, to ensure seamless integration with the proceedings.

Magnet also accepts song requests during the performance, provided that they're in the main repertoire.

Magnet Dress Code

As a professional wedding band, Magnet realises the importance of integrating with the guests at your Wedding Reception.

As a result, Magnet dress as your guests would, with Tim Manger wearing a suit and tie, and Shannan Mudie wearing a semi formal, but comfortable dress or skirt.

Meals & Drinks

This is one of the most overlooked issues for Wedding Couples booking Wedding Entertainment.

It is extremely important that the duo, trio, band or entertainer is treated as a guest at your Wedding Reception, and it is policy for most Wedding Reception venues to automatically supply the entertainment act with both meals and drinks.

As Magnet is a duo, you are only required to supply 2 meals including soft drinks. Whilst alcohol consumption remains a contentious issue, Magnet is often provided with one or two glasses of wine by the venue, "top shelf" and spirits are not a standard issue.

The number of courses provided by the Wedding Reception venue can vary, and often depends on the arrangements made prior with the Wedding Couple, although Magnet generally only requires a main meal due to time constraints.
